The bomb blasts in Qatar are a very disturbing development. The peaceful image of Qatar now lies shattered, especially since next year, they are hosting the Asian games, and are really keen on putting their best foot forward. When I left Doha for good in December last year, I had no inkling this would happen.
I hope things dont deteriorate further in this small, beautiful godforsaken country.
